I have this Mms.app I was using on a CM10.2 build from a while back,and I cannot remember for the life of me where I downloaded it,though Im sure it was off an XDA thread. I was trying to get it to work Temaseks unofficial cm11,and after messing with it for a few hours using apktool and notepad++,I got it to run. I only have one issue,and that is that when I try to go into settings and adjust the message view list,I get a fc!! The message view list is where you can adjust the bubbles,background,etc ,and Im not sure why it isnt working,as I havent really noticed a big disparity between the 4.2.2,4.3,and 4.4 Mms.apk. Im really hoping a more experienced person can help me figure out the issue here. I've attached the apk,as it is a nice alternative to the 4.4 stock,but just as a precaution,dont mess with settings or else it will fc. For 4.4: push or place to system/private apps and be sure to backup original mms.apk in case you want it back or something goes wrong. Set permissions to r w -r-r and enjoy!! Also,if anyone knows who developed the original,Id appreciate knowing so I can give that person props!!
