This is a sturdy well made hay bag. We've always used hay nets but a lot of hay gets on the ground or floor. These bags hold quite a bit and keep the hay inside with minimal droppage. I believe they'll have a longer life than the nets.

I like these. They probably won't last as long as metal feeders, but they waste less hay. My goats love getting hay all over the ground and this feeder really mitigates that. They seem pretty durable.

The hay bags work for both my horses and my goat (I just adjust the height that I hang it). The hay bag fits plenty of hay (way more than I had originally thought). The hole that they eat the hay out of is small enough that it reduces hay waste.
