This is a sturdy well made hay bag. We've always used hay nets but a lot of hay gets on the ground or floor. These bags hold quite a bit and keep the hay inside with minimal droppage. I believe they'll have a longer life than the nets.

I like these. They probably won't last as long as metal feeders, but they waste less hay. My goats love getting hay all over the ground and this feeder really mitigates that. They seem pretty durable.
